Laura Valencia Matarranz

Laura received her degree in Pharmacy in 1991 and her Ph.D. degree in 1999, from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), with a thesis about macrocyclic coordination complexes. She is Associate Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Vigo (Spain). Her research interests are centered around the development of targeting and responsive MRI agents (paramagnetic, CEST and PARACEST complexes).
