Gustavo Bodelón González research is focused in synthetic biology approaches to engineer cell-based biosensors, as well as to interface nanomaterials and biological systems with novel properties and new functionalities. Dr Bodelón main research lines are: 1. Development of bacterial SERS sensors, 2. Development of biological and biosensing applications of nanomaterials, 3. Engineering of hybrid bio-materials with synergistic functions.
