Alba Sorroche Ezquerro

Alba Sorroche Ezquerro obtained her Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of La Rioja in 2025. Her doctoral research focused on the (photo)catalytic applications of gold(I) complexes, AuSNs and AuNPs, as well as on studying the influence of secondary interactions in photocatalytic systems. As a postdoctoral researcher in the group, her current work centers on the development of 3D-networks of metal nanoparticles functionalized with molecular receptors for the detection of aldehyde biomarkers.
